I attended Showmasters Belfast in the oddysey arena both days, I was Cosplaying and did not really attend any of the traders stalls, the atmosphere was great, it was a better venue than the Kings hall MCM mainly because it was not packed tight and to warm, the larger area allowed more movement, the only real issues I had was when a talk was happening it felt like the place was empty because lots of people had moved up into the stands, however as before this allowed a good bit more free movement and not sweating to death while there.
I really enjoyed both days and the staff/volunteers were accommodating and polite, there was a large presence of the Emerald Garrison and slightly smaller 501st, they placed these at the front which I found amusing as the Emerald Garrison brought their large Jabba display and Showmasters basically made it out as if this was something they had planned all along.
Not a bad show and everyone I met seemed happy.
